"Euro Folk 2007" Musical Feasts - The world is television is in different European cities and countries from 3 May till 21 October 2007.
Musical Feasts “Euro Folk 2007” comprise fifteen musical festivals and are held under the aegis of European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF.
Main event of the Musical Feasts “Euro Folk 2007” is Festival №1 in Europe of the traditional folk arts – Stara Planina Fest “Balkan Folk “. Every year in the Festival participate from 10 000 to 15 000 musicians, singers and dancers.
Typical feature of Musical Feasts “Euro Folk 2007” is, that all performances are recorded with professional audio and television technics and the best of them will be broadcasted in Europe. All this activities realize the main purpose of Musical Feasts “Euro Folk 2007” – The world is television to make popular through the media the traditional folk arts.
Preliminary Program
At the present time by a project of the European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF in Veliko Tarnovo, the Ethnographic complex “Kulata” (5 km away from Veliko Tarnovo), the Architectural reserve “Arbanassi” and the beautiful nature around we produce free of charge video clips and musical films (up to 30 minutes) for some of the best European folklore collectives.Regulations
The staing in Veliko Tarnovo should be at least 5 days (not counting the days of arrival and departure). The collectives who are willing to do that must fill in the application form in the same regulation and specify the days of arrival and departure. After 2 weeks with approvmal of EAFF will confirm the application form. Filming could be done in the period between July 10th and October 30h.Awards
To the participating and to the best collectives under the project EAFF is going to give awards.General Conditions
A 10% advance payment of the total amount for lodging or board and lodging (calculated on the chosen by the group prices and the number of days to stay) should be deposited /in EURO/ at BULGARIAN POST BANK - branch Veliko Tarnovo, IBAN: BG79BPBI79311447679001, S.W.I.F.T. BPBIBGSF to Euro Folk Academy Ltd. For example, for a group of twenty-five people who would stay at a two-star hotel, boarding and lodging for six days the amount comes out to: 25 x 6 x 22 = 3300 EURO. The deposit is 3300 x 0.1 = 330 EURO. This amount should be deposited on the appointed account. The discounts will be substracted by the final payment that will be made at the arrival day.
The prices for lodging, which include the festival service are as follows:
- three star hotel
boarding and lodging - 29 EURO
- two star hotel
boarding and lodging - 22 EURO
- one star hotel
boarding and lodging - 17 EURO
- monastery and resort houses near Veliko Tarnovo
boarding and lodging - 14 EURO
The sender covers all bank taxes.
All filled in and signed applications will mean acceptance of the terms laid by the present regulations.
