The European Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk 2011” is held
within the scope of Musical Fests “Euro Folk 2011” – The World is
television. Musical Feasts are held in different European cities and
countries during the whole year 2011.
Musical Feasts “Euro
Folk 2011” comprise thirty five (35) musical festivals and are held under
the aegis of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - ЕАFF.
Main event of Musical Feasts “Euro Folk 2011” is No 1 Festival in
Europe for the traditional folklore arts – Stara Planina Fest “Balkan
Folk” in Bulgaria. Every year from 9 000 to 15 000 musicians, singers
and dancers take part in it.
Typical feature of Musical Feasts
“Euro Folk 2011” is that all of the performances are recorded with
professional audio and television technics and the best of them are
repeatedly broadcasted by more than 50 cable televisions in Bulgaria,
by the satelite televisions "New Bulgarian television", "Travel TV", "Bulgaria TV "
and “Heros TV”, as well as by the World Wide Internet televisions "Euro
Folk" at www.eurofolk.com/tv and "Rodina TV" at www.tvrodina.com.
All this activities realize the main purpose of The European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF - to popularize the traditional
folk arts through the enormous possibilities of mass media.

AWARDS:
GRAND PRIX "Golden Orpheus", a gold medal and a diploma of ABSOLUTE EUROPEAN CHAMPION OF FOLKLORE for 2011
First award "Golden Orpheus" in the relevant 14 categories and a diploma of EUROPEAN CHAMPION OF FOLKLORE for the relevant category.
All participants obtain diplomas of laureates, diplomas and prizes.
The distinguished by the jury and the producers of Euro Folk Academy
artists and artistic leaders are awarded diplomas for Maestro or Maestro
Academic through the Ministry of Culture of the relevant country.

Preliminary Program
PROGRAM of Festival - Look it here!!The festival program includes competitions in the following categories:
- folk songs;
- folk dances;
- folk ensembles;
- old town songs;
- brass bends and folklore orchestras;
- popular and variety songs;
- individual performers;
- in all the categories there are classifying for young people up to 19 years
The concerts take place at the Antique amphitheatre in Nessebar and other places in Nessebar and Sunny Beach.
The jury has the right to request for the performance of a part of the notified program, if it exceeds the specified time limits. Nevertheless the participants should be ready, if necessary, to perform the program in its mass.During the European Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk 2011” studio audio recordings and filming of professional video clips of the participants' program will be done free of charge of those performances awarded by the jury or against payment.
The duration of the program should not exceed 30 minutes.
The made recordings will be broadcasted by 50 Bulgarian cable televisions, by 4 satellite televisions covering the whole Europe, as well as by the World Wide Internet Televisions “Euro Folk” at www.eurofolk.com/tv and “Rodina TV” at www.tvrodina.com.
During the participation of the collective in the championship the organizer could invite it to take part in general events such as Official Opening, Official Closing, defile, cocktail party and others.
Regulations
Main task of the organizers is to ensure the creative groups an access to the stage, to gather them in a concourse programme aimed at defining the best ones and to popularize the award winners of the fest by broadcasting their art in Bulgaria and the European TV air.
The European Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk 2011” has been organized by European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF, Euro Folk Academy, Municipality of Nessebar and other organizations within the scope of Musical Feasts “Euro Folk 2011 – the world is television” from 8th to 18th of July, 2011.
The European Championship is held with the support of UNESCO.
Host of the festival is the Municipality of Nessebar and “Sunny Beach” resort, Bulgaria.
Regulations for participation in European Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk 2011"
To enter the contest the participants must be accredited, which is realized under the following conditions:
Those
who wish to take part in the Festival must fill-in and sign application
forms, in which there is an unambiguous text saying, that the notifier
accepts the conditions laid by this regulation.
The collectives,
who apply for participation, must have obtained prestigious awards from
other festivals; the awards should be notified in the application form.
The application forms should be sent not later than June 10, 2011.
The
participants pay the specified prices for participation in the European
Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk 2011”. The advanced payment is 20%
from the total amount for the participation of the group. It is payable
up to June 10, 2011. That condition is in order to book the places in
the active resort season.
The price includes staying the night, breakfast, dinner and festival service.
20% advanced payment from the total amount for participation, calculated
by the price, chosen from the relevant group, must be transferred via

2011) for Euro Folk Academy Ltd. For
example for a group, consisting of 21 people for staying in a 3 stars
hotel with spending the night, breakfast and dinner,
for 5 days the amount is being calculated in the following way: 20 (+1 person for free) х 10 х 32 EURO = 3200 EURO. The advanced payment equals 3200 х 0,2 = 640 EURO.
for 10 days the
amount is being calculated in the following way: 20 (+1 person for free)
х 10 х 29 EURO = 5800 EURO. The advanced payment equals 5800 х 0,2 =
1160 EURO.
This advance amount
must be transferred via the mentioned bank account. The discounts shall
be rendered at the final paying off.

For the tome being these prices are approximate.
It is desirable by post, to the address of EAFF, to send the last released album of the participant (the group) or demo records of not less than two performances. It is desirable that the application form has an added
annotation about the participant and advertising materials – photos. The
sent materials are not a subject of return.
