The World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2011" is held for the first time.
Organizers are the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF,
Municipality of Nessebar, World Folklore Academy and other
organizations.
A special feature of the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk" is
that all performances are recorded with professional audio and
television equipment and the best of them are repeatedly broadcasted by
50 cable televisions in Bulgaria, by satellite televisions "New
Bulgarian Television, "Travel TV", "BG TV" and "Heros TV" with coverage
across Europe, as well as by the World Wide Internet Televisions "Euro
Folk" at www.eurofolk.com / tv and "TV Rodina" at www.tvrodina. com.
With these activities the main goal of the World Championship of
Folklore "World Folk 2011“is being realized and that is to popularize
the traditional folk arts through the enormous possibilities of mass
media.

AWARDS:
GRAND PRIX "Golden Orpheus", a gold medal and a diploma of ABSOLUTE WORLD CHAMPION OF FOLKLORE for 2011.
First award "Golden Orpheus" in the relevant 14 categories and a diploma of WORLD CHAMPION OF FOLKLORE for the relevant category.
All participants obtain diplomas of laureates, diplomas and prizes.
According to theevaluation of judges and producers Euro Folk Academy,
the best performers and art directors are honored with a Diploma for
obtaining the rank of Maestro or Maestro Academic. Diplomas are awarded
through the Ministry of Culture of the relevant country.

10 days - 320 Euro per person - 32 Euro / day / person

PROGRAM of World Shampionship of folklore WORLD FOLK 2011 - Look it here!!
The festival program includes competitions in the following categories:
• folklore songs;
• folklore dances;
• folklore ensembles;
• old-time city songs
• brass and folklore orchestras;
• popular songs;
• individual performers;
• in all categories there is classifying of youths under 19years.
Concerts take place at the Ancient Amphitheatre in Nessebar and other places in Nessebar and Sunny Beach.
The jury is entitled to request for the performance of a part of the applied program, if it exceeds the prescribed time limits. However, participants should be prepared, if necessary, to complete the program in its entirety.
During the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2011”shall be made studio audio recordings and shooting of professional videos of the program of the participants, whose performances have been awarded by the jury with shooting of a video clip or against payment.
The duration of the program must not exceed 30 minutes.
The made recordings shall be broadcasted by 50 Bulgarian cable televisions, 4 satellite televisions covering the whole Europe and the by World Wide Internet Televisions "Euro Folk" at www.eurofolk.com/tv and "TV Rodina" at www.tvrodina.com .
During the participation of the collective in the championship organizers could invite it to participate in common events – Official Opening Ceremony, Official Closing Ceremony, parade, cocktail and more.
Regulations
Main task of the organizers is to allow the expression of the creative groups and their incorporation into a competitive program, defining the best of them and promoting the winners by broadcasting in the European and World television air.
The World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2011" is organized by the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF, World Folklore Academy, Municipality of Nessebar and other organizations from August 22 to September 1, 2011

Regulations for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2011“
To enter the contest, an accreditation of the participants is needed, and that is carried out under the following conditions:
Those who wish to participate in the Championship, must complete and
sign application forms, in which there is an explicit text stating that
the applicant accepts the conditions laid down in this Regulation.
The collectives who apply for participation must have been awarded
prestigious awards from other festivals; the awards should be listed in
the application.
Application forms for participation in the competition program shall be adopted no later than 30.07.2011.
Participants pay their participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk in 2011"by the indicatedprices.The advance payment is 20% of total amount for participation of the group. It is paid until 30.07.2011. Thiscondition iswith the purpose ofreservation of the seats in the active resort season. Two weeks before the beginning of the championship the full amount forparticipationmust be sent. Exception only withthe permission of the President of EAFF.
The price includes staying the night, breakfast, dinner and festival attendance. The minimum participation period is 5 days.

It is desirable by post, at the address of EAFF, to send the last released album of the participant / the group or a demo record of not less than two performances. It is desirable to add an annotation of the participant and promotional materials - photos.
